Due to many requests to have Church videos available on playlists, Media Library on LDS.org has delivered.

A new feature called Inspirational Playlists—similar to a YouTube playlist—allows you to start the first video in a playlist and then sit back and relax as the rest of the the videos play automatically. These playlists were designed to allow you to watch content continuously without having to navigate all over LDS.org to find the videos you want to watch.

Ryan Cannon, associate producer for Media Library, said, “These playlists provide an easy and spiritually uplifting way to spend time as a family. They could be used to enrich a Sunday afternoon or be used as a great way to spend family home evening.”

So far, there are nine different playlists to choose from. Included in the Inspirational Playlists are a Mormon Messages playlist, a Bible Videos playlist, and an “I’m a Mormon” video playlist. The playlists take a few seconds to load and are best viewed by clicking in the bottom right corner of the videos to make them full screen.

Brother Cannon said that Media Library producers and managers are always monitoring user feedback to deliver what members want. With Inspirational Playlists, they tried to include content that will entertain and uplift people.

“Our hope is that this new feature will provide an easier way to view the wonderful content that is being created,” he said, “[It] allows individuals and families to come closer to the Savior.”
