New Mission Presidents Called to Serve in Guatemala, Philippines, England, and More

Ten new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin their service in July.

Bolivia Santa Cruz North Mission

Manuela and Enrique Cabezas

Enrique Cabezas Gomez, 65, and Manuela Sánchez de Cabezas, five children, Calacoto Ward, La Paz Bolivia Calacoto Stake: Bolivia Santa Cruz North Mission, succeeding President Richard C. Zambrano and Sister Patricia Zambrano. Brother Cabezas serves as an area public affairs director and is a former stake presidency counselor, bishop, high councilor, and institute teacher. Self-reliance manager, Corporation of the Presiding Bishop. Born in Sucre, Bolivia, to Augusto Cabezas Salguero and Blanca Gomez Castropinto.

Sister Cabezas serves as a visiting teaching supervisor and is a former ward Relief Society and Young Women president, ward Relief Society presidency counselor, seminary teacher, and Sunday School teacher. Born in Sucre, Bolivia, to Aurelio Sánchez Vargas and Albina Medina de Sánchez.

Guatemala Cobán Mission

Carlos A. and Teresa Faundez

Carlos Alfonso Faundez Maureira, 53, and Teresa de Jesús Riquelme de Faundez, five children, Las Gardenias Ward, Santiago Chile Javiera Carrera Stake: Guatemala Cobán Mission, succeeding President John F. Philippines Legazpi Mission

Lori Jan and Dale K. Kotter

Dale Kent Kotter, 59, and Lori Jan Fielding Kotter, five children, Taylor Ward, Shelley Idaho South Stake: Philippines Legazpi Mission, succeeding President Jovencio A. Guanzon and Sister Jocelyn Guanzon. Brother Kotter is a former stake president, stake presidency counselor, high councilor, branch president, ward Young Men president, and missionary in the Canada Toronto Mission. Idaho Idaho Falls Mission

Cheryl A. and Brent J. Nelson

Brent Jay Nelson, 57, and Cheryl Ann Ellingson Nelson, five children, Woodburn 1st Ward, Keizer Oregon Stake: Idaho Idaho Falls Mission, succeeding President Glen R. Curtis and Sister Nancy Curtis. Donald and Sister Lucinda Kay Donald. Brother Rowley serves as a YSA stake presidency counselor and is a former bishop, branch president, high councilor, ward executive secretary, ward Young Men president, and missionary in the Indonesia Jakarta Mission.
