New Stake
A new stake has been created from a division of the Lehi Utah Gateway Stake. The Lehi Utah Thanksgiving Stake, which consists of the Cranberry Farms 1st, Pilgrims Landing 1st, Pilgrims Landing 2nd, Pilgrims Landing 3rd, Pilgrims Landing 4th, Sunset Hollow, Thanksgiving Meadows 1st, Thanksgiving Meadows 2nd, and Thanksgiving Village Wards, was created by Elder Marcus B. Nash of the Seventy and Elder Evan A. Schmutz, an Area Seventy.
LEHI UTAH THANKSGIVING STAKE (October 11, 2015): President—Cody Michael Tower, 41, director of senior living; wife, Sonni Leah Tower. Counselors—Jason Justin Taufer, 43, client adviser; wife, AmySue Puckett Taufer. Clay Harlon Caswell, 41, history teacher; wife, Stefanie Annette Stevens Caswell.
A new stake has been created from the Liberia Costa Rica District. The Liberia Costa Rica Stake, which consists of the Nicoya Branch and the Cañas, La Victoria, Liberia, San Roque, and Santa Cruz Wards, was created by Elder Kevin R. Duncan of the Seventy and Elder Carlos F. Arredondo, an Area Seventy.
LIBERIA COSTA RICA STAKE (July 19, 2015): President—David Joseph Patey, 39, CEO, Africa Safari Reserve; wife, Lori Marie Mills Patey. Counselors—Rodrigo Bernal Soto Bolaños, 52, assistant manager; wife, Maritea Muñoz Soto. Erick David Espinoza Hernández, 38, music teacher; wife, Lidia Maria Torres Espinoza.
A new stake has been created from the Caldwell New Jersey and Scotch Plains New Jersey Stakes and Patterson New Jersey District. The Liberty Park New Jersey Stake, which consists of the Bayonne, Spring Garden, and Ironbound (Portuguese) Branches and the Jersey City 1st (Spanish), Jersey City 2nd, Newark (Spanish), Union City (Spanish), West New York (Spanish), and Hoboken YSA Wards, was created by Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and Elder Paul H. Sinclair, an Area Seventy.
LIBERTY PARK NEW JERSEY STAKE (September 20, 2015): President—Michael Lawrence Scheel, 38, president, Profolio Investments; wife, Jennifer Reed Chugg Scheel. Counselors—Juan Carlos Almeida, 39, personal banker; wife, Carole Nane Robles Almeida. Ernesto Gomez Santos, 55, bus operator; wife, Marta Gomez.
A new stake has been created from the Okpuala Ngwa Nigeria District. The Okpuala Ngwa Nigeria Stake, which consists of the Ndiolumbe and Ntigha Branches and the Amapu, Nbawsi, Okpuala Ngwa, Ovungwu, Umuapu, and Umuchima Wards, was created by Elder LeGrand R. Curtis Jr. of the Seventy and Elder Aniefiok Udo Inyon, an Area Seventy.

A new stake has been created from a division of the Sete Lagoas Brazil Stake. The Sete Lagoas Brazil East Stake, which consists of the Belo Vale, Curvelo, Interlagos, Nova Cidade, and Sete Lagoas 2nd Wards, was created by Elder Jairo Mazzagardi of the Seventy.
