New Temple President Called to Tegucigalpa Honduras Temple

Luis Gustavo Duarte Fonseca, 53, Roble Oeste Ward, Tegucigalpa Honduras Loarque Stake, called as president of the Tegucigalpa Honduras Temple, succeeding President Roberto Ocampo Reyes. President Duarte’s wife, Gladys Ernestina Zeitun Borjas de Duarte, will serve as temple matron, succeeding Sister Argentina M. de Ocampo. He has served as an Area Seventy, president of the Peru Trujillo North Mission, stake president, Church public affairs director for Honduras, bishop, and high councilor. A property manager, he was born in Comayaguela, Honduras, to German Gustavo and Rosinda Esperanza Fonseca Martinez de Durate.

Sister Duarte served with her husband as he presided over the Peru Trujillo North Mission. She has also served as ward Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary president, institute teacher, and seminary teacher. She was born in Comayaguela, Honduras, to Raul Elias Zeitun Chacon and Guadalupe Borjas Valeriano.
