Church Releases Fort Collins Temple Rendering
The rendering of the Fort Collins Colorado Temple, first announced during April 2011 general conference, has been released.

This week, the Church released the rendering of the Fort Collins Colorado Temple to the public.
The temple will be constructed across the street from a Latter-day Saint chapel in Fort Collins. At the time the site announcement was made, in October 2011, Fort Collins Colorado Stake President Russell McClure said, “We feel this new temple will be a great asset not only to members of the Church in Colorado and the region but also to the people of Fort Collins, who will benefit from the peace and beauty a temple brings.”
Approximately 142,000 Church members reside in Colorado. This will be the state’s second temple; the Denver Colorado Temple, located some 60 miles to the south, was dedicated in 1986. The first congregation of the Church in Colorado was organized nearly 90 years earlier, in January 1897.
