The Duty to God website has been updated and is now an interactive online tool that more effectively helps young men create, track, and save their progress in the Duty to God program.
Deacons, teachers, and priests can now view the entire Fulfilling My Duty to God: For Aaronic Priesthood Holders booklet online, and by signing in with their LDS Account they can create journal entries to chronicle their advancement through the program.
The complete online booklet also includes all of the learning activities and links to scriptures and other resources.
The site has clear instructions regarding spiritual strength, priesthood duties, and For the Strength of Youth projects for each age group and office.
Under the heading of “Spiritual Strength,” each group learns how personal worthiness is tied to priesthood power. The “Priesthood Duties” section helps young men learn and fulfill their duties in their respective offices. And the “For the Strength of Youth” category requires young men to complete various standards-based projects.
The section for priests includes an additional segment called “Preparing to Receive the Melchizedek Priesthood,” in which young men complete a project that helps them prepare to serve a full-time mission.
The revision to the website also includes two introductory videos that explain the Duty to God program to parents, young men, and Young Men leaders. Links to other videos and articles relating to Duty to God appear along the bottom of the home page.
