Mission Presidents and Wives Called to Serve

Twelve new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. With the exception of Elder and Sister Zwick, who will begin their service immediately, these couples will begin serving in July.

Australia Sydney South Mission

Darrell K. and Mary B. Back

Darrell Kenneth Back, 60, and Mary Ann Babbel Back, seven children, Crescent 18th Ward, Sandy Utah Crescent Stake: Australia Sydney South Mission, succeeding President Larry J. Lew and Sister Susanna Lew. Brother Back is a former counselor in a stake presidency, bishop, high councilor, ward Young Men president, Scoutmaster and missionary in the Australia Melbourne Mission. President, Meridian Title Company. Born in Salt Lake City to Vernon Kenneth Back and Carol Richardson Back.

Sister Back is a former counselor in ward Relief Society and Young Women presidencies, ward Young Women adviser, ward Primary teacher and Cub Scout leader. Born in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Roy Erwin Babbel and Rhoda Mae Welker Babbel.

Puerto Rico San Juan Mission

Kevin B. and Rebecca B. Boucher

Kevin Bruce Boucher, 54, and Rebecca Burton Boucher, four children, Holladay 18th Ward, Salt Lake Holladay South Stake: Puerto Rico San Juan Mission, succeeding President W. Craig Zwick and Sister Jan Zwick. Brother Boucher is a former bishop, high councilor, stake executive secretary, stake Young Men president, counselor in a bishopric and missionary in the Spain Madrid Mission. Sister Boucher is a former counselor in a stake Young Women presidency, ward Relief Society and Young Women president and ward Sunday School teacher. Born in Salt Lake City to Bishop H. David Burton and Barbara Matheson Burton.

Kendle and Robin L. Bowler

Kendle Bowler, 58, and Robin Lynn Howell Bowler, four children, Meadow Valley Ward, Elko Nevada East Stake: Honduras Tegucigalpa Mission, succeeding President Carlos A. Hernández and Sister Ana Rivas de Hernández. Brother Bowler is a former stake president, bishop, stake Young Men president, elders quorum president and missionary in the Argentina Buenos Aires South Mission. Ranch owner. Sister Bowler serves as a counselor in a stake Young Women presidency and is a former ward Relief Society president, ward Primary president and counselor in a ward Young Women presidency. Born in Salt Lake City to Jerry Mads Howell and Patricia Ann Mollerup Howell.

Jeffrey D. and Bonnie C. Clark

Donna M. and O. Nolan Daines

Mathew C. and Terrilyn H. Greer

Mathew Charles Greer, 60, and Terrilyn Haynes Greer, four children, Elliot Ward, Gilbert Arizona Stake: Mexico Xalapa Mission, succeeding President Paulo Lopez and Sister Josefina Melo de Lopez. Brother and Sister Greer recently served as Perpetual Education Fund missionaries in the Honduras Tegucigalpa Mission. Brother Greer is a former stake Young Men president, bishop, stake executive secretary, institute teacher, temple ordinance worker and missionary in the Guatemala/El Salvador Mission. Smartt. Elder Zwick is a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy and is a former president of the Brazil, Brazil South, and North America Northeast areas, counselor in the Europe West and Europe Central Area Presidencies, president of the Chile Santiago South Mission and missionary in the North Argentina Mission. Sister Zwick served with her husband in the Chile Santiago South Mission and is a former member of the Young Women general board, stake Young Women president, counselor in a stake Primary presidency and counselor in a ward Young Women presidency. Born in Price, Utah, to Sheldon Chris Johnson and Claire Faye Johnson.
