New Triple Combination Published in Russian

The Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price are now available together as one bound volume in Russian. Previously, all three books were available separately.

A new triple combination edition of the scriptures featuring the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price bound together in one volume is now available in Russian.
“We encourage members to obtain their own copies of the scriptures and to use them in regular personal and family study and in Church meetings and assignments,” reads a letter from the First Presidency, addressed to General Authorities and Church leaders in Russian-language units. “As members prayerfully learn and teach from the scriptures, their testimonies will grow and they will receive greater direction in their daily lives.”
The new volume is available immediately from local Church distribution centers, from the Online Store, online at the scriptures website, and on the Gospel Library mobile application. This edition brings the number of publication languages for the triple combination to 44.
Previously, Russian versions of the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price were available separately. In addition to combining the books into one volume, this new publication adds chapter headings and summaries, footnotes, cross-references, and the Guide to the Scriptures, all available for the first time. (The Guide to the Scriptures is an alphabetical listing of scriptural topics that include detailed descriptions and definitions, important references, and cross-references to related topics.)
Russia, geographically the largest country in the world, is home to more than 21,000 Church members. Though the Prophet Joseph Smith called missionaries to Russia in 1843, his martyrdom delayed formal missionary work in the country until 1895, when a Swedish missionary baptized the first family in Russia. In May 1991 the Church received formal recognition in Russia.
Just last June, Elder Russell M. Nelson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles created the first Russian stake in Moscow.
