Michael Otterson, public affairs director for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, recently posted an article on the Washington Post Blog, “On Faith,” asking returned senior service missionaries to share their experiences.
In “The Mormon Retirement Plan” Brother Otterson points out the rising number of retirements as the first Baby Boomers reach age 65.
“For many older Mormons, though, ‘retirement’ means something else altogether,” he writes.
