Sister Missionary Dies in Guatemala

A 22-year-old missionary serving in the Guatemala Guatemala City Central Mission died August 5 after coming in contact with a live electrical wire.
Sister Heidi Andrea Ortega Huber is from the Santiago Chile Independencia Stake and had been serving in Guatemala since April 2016. Missionaries and first responders tried in vain to resuscitate Sister Ortega, said Church spokesman Eric Hawkins.
“It is with great sadness that we share news of the death of a young missionary,” said Hawkins. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and loved ones of Sister Ortega as they mourn her passing, and we pray they will be given comfort during this difficult time.”
