Burundi Bujumbura 2nd Branch members prepare ground for planting a garden at an orphanage.

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout the continent of Africa served their communities on Helping Hands Day 2012.  Thousands of members and friends of the Church followed the Saviour’s footsteps in service on Saturday, 18 August, 2012.

Workers wearing colourful Helping Hands vests often had smiles even bigger than the smiles of those whom they served.  Those vests punctuated activities from Angola to Zimbabwe and everywhere in between.
