From Virginia to Toronto, the choir and orchestra put on an exhilarating show during their 2011 East Coast tour.

The world-renowned Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square take their show on the road every two years.

The 2011 tour kicked off in Norfolk, Virginia, USA, on Monday, June 20, 2011, and traveled through Philadelphia and New York before ending at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on Monday, June 27, 2011.

During those eight days, the choir and orchestra performed seven concerts for nearly 30,000 people, surprised tourists in Williamsburg, Virginia, with a lyrical flashmob, celebrated the world’s largest pipe organ’s 100th birthday, and visited Church sites in Palmyra, New York.

Below, listen to the combined sounds of the choir and orchestra set to a slideshow of photos from the tour.
