Six well-prepared, wonderful young men and young women received mission calls on the same day- the first missionaries ever from the Kwanobuhle Ward (South Africa)!

Heavenly Father and the Saviour really wanted these youth to serve. There were so many road blocks in their way.  One by one the road blocks were removed. With one exception, none of their parents are members of the Church. Most of these youth have never had a job.  They have overcome the world to arrive here.

The prospective missionaries had to earn enough money to get ready to go on mission. Eventually they were employed to work on the chapels- painting chairs, pressure washing the building, repainting door jambs and security bars. They have worked for months going from chapel to chapel in the stake.

The missionaries are called to serve in the Sierra Leone Mission, the South Africa Durban Mission, the South Africa Johannesburg Mission, the Uganda Mission, and the Zimbabwe Mission.

We love these young missionaries so much, we feel like they are our own children. It is going to be hard to see them go. The day the mission calls arrived was the best day of our mission! Heavenly Father and our Saviour won big time. We know that they live. We love them both with all of our heart.
