Family Discovery Day on February 6 is especially designed for families and members of the Church ages eight and older. The messages and classes are designed to teach you how to find your ancestors, how to prepare names for temple ordinances, and how to teach others to do the same.
The Church hosts the one-day event held at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City during RootsTech, the largest family history conference in the world, hosted by FamilySearch International, February 3–6, 2016.
Family groups and leaders of wards and stakes interested in hosting a local family history fair or family discovery day can learn more at ChurchofJesusChrist.org/hostfair. To learn more about attending the live event, which is free, you need to register through RootsTech.org.
