The President Speaks

Paraphrased by President S. Dilworth Young of the First Council of the Seventy

These three then,
No part left out,
None removed,
Measure the true believer:

1. That Jesus Christ is the
Son of God.
Literally!
That he lives,
Was resurrected,
Exalted.

2. To Joseph Smith he spoke
In latter days.
This prophet, hearing and
Believing,
And obeying,
Organized the Church of Christ
On earth.

3. That Joseph truly gave
To the succeeding Prophet
All the keys!
Authorities!
Powers!
And so on until now
The living prophet
Stands,
All heavenly power his
To speak for Christ.

Anyone believing less than this

Is no believer.
