Singing Sisters Aid Celebrations

The Huang sisters, students at Brigham Young University from Taiwan, were recently invited to participate in their homeland’s national days celebration. Well-known as television performers in Taiwan before they enrolled at BYU two and one-half years ago, the sisters toured the country and also made special television appearances. Singing with them was Howard Lo, a BYU librarian and coordinator of the Chinese Students Federation that arranged a charter flight of Chinese students from the United States to Taiwan for the festivities. The Huang sisters, seen above, are, from front, clockwise, Michelle, Christine, Peggy, and Lucy. A fifth sister, Lisa, also attends BYU and sings with the group, but did not join the tour.
