James Mortimer, general manager of Deseret Book Company; Dallin H. Oaks, president of Brigham Young University; and Emma Lou Thayne, Utah poet and community leader. Other board members are Elder Monson, Elder Faust, and Presiding Bishop Victor L. Brown. D. Arthur Haycock was renamed corporation secretary-treasurer.

Elder Sterling W. Sill Concludes Radio Program Assignment

Elder Paul H. Dunn of the Presidency of the First Quorum of the Seventy has succeeded Elder Sterling W. Sill of the First Quorum of the Seventy as the speaker on the regular “Sunday Evening from Temple Square” radio program.

The program has been carried by some 370 radio stations across the United States, with additional broadcasts in Ontario and Alberta, Canada, and Brisbane, Australia.

Assigned to host “Sunday Evening from Temple Square” in April 1960, Elder Sill has been a familiar voice on the program for seventeen years. However, failing eyesight resulting from retinal deterioration, first discovered more than five years ago, has recently made the preparation of his talks an increasingly difficult challenge.

Elder Dunn, a General Authority of the Church since 1964, will continue the weekly broadcasts, with music provided by the Mormon Youth Symphony and Chorus.
