To Christ Give We Praise

1. To Christ give we praise and glory forever,

And thanks be to him, and thanks be to him.

He died for us; he died for us;

He died for us that we might live.

2. Oh, come unto him, ye heavy laden.

He’ll give you rest; he’ll give you rest.

Come lay your burdens at his feet;

He’ll give you strength to carry on.

3. So praise be to him—the great Jehovah:

“How great thou art; how great thou art.

Thou hast redeemed us from the Fall

That we might have eternal life.”
