[New Temple]

New international temples are designed to match their surroundings. This architect’s rendering of the Johannesburg Temple in South Africa features use of native stone, complementing an old stone wall which surrounds the temple property. The building’s design is adapted to its setting in historic Parktown suburb, situated among early-period homes near a hospital and a college, close to the main road between Johannesburg and Pretoria.
