Sweet child,

delicate as a captured

note of windchime,

your spirit

is sent to be nurtured

by the fresh air of truth,

crystal and transparent in the earth.

We breathe a pureness

in your presence, your warmth

and light, and pray

as we look beyond daybreak

that time and love’s craft

shall be enough to gather
