The Holy Ghost
When Jesus left the earth,
He promised He would send
The Holy Ghost, the Comforter,
To be our friend.
The Holy Ghost is kind,
And He will give us aid.
He guides us with a quiet voice
When we’re afraid.
All things are known by Him,
Our wise and holy friend.
And all our doubts and all our hurts
He wants to mend.
The Holy Ghost is near,
As near as daily prayers.
He warns us in a still, small voice
And always cares.
