Ice Trick

You will need: water glass about three-quarters full of water, ice cube, piece of string, and salt. Tell your friends that you can lasso the ice cube floating in the water and lift it out of the glass.

Lay the loop of you string on top of the floating ice cube. Sprinkle both the ice cube and the loop generously with salt. In a few seconds, the salt will freeze the string to the ice, and a quick jerk will haul the cube out of the glass.
