Making Raisins

seedless grapes

large pan for boiling water

large tray for baking

  1. Preheat oven to 160°.

  2. Wash grapes and put them into boiling water until skins crack.

  3. Remove grapes and spread a single layer on tray.

  4. Place tray in oven for two to three hours. Turn grapes at least twice during drying period.

  5. When dry and pliable, remove raisins from oven and cool. Store in an airtight glass container.
