Bean Wigwam

Grow your own wigwam! To begin, set five or six stout sticks or seven-foot poles in a circle and bind them together at the top. Create a mesh of string or wire all the way up the wigwam’s sides. Plant Kentucky Wonder or Romano pole beans around the outside, and it won’t take long for the vines to completely cover the wigwam. Besides playing in the wigwam you will be able to pick and eat the beans.

Another idea is to build a fort and plant pumpkin, ground, or melon seeds around the sides. All you need are four posts covered along three sides with chicken wire. The vines soon grow and cover the frame, making it a good hideout.
