Mary’s Lullaby

1. Sleep, my child, the star shines bright;

Earth has awaited this holy night.

Angels sing praises to thee from the skies;

I hold thee close, singing soft lullabies.

2. Sleep, my child, have nothing to fear;

Father and mother are always near.

Others will bring their treasures to thee;

My gift is love and this soft melody.

3. Sleep, my child, thy Father above

Sent thee to save all the world with His love.

Songs of hosanas resound from the skies;

I hold thee close, singing soft lullabies.
