Mother’s Day Flower

To make Mother’s Day Flower, you will need: four pieces of construction paper (different colors), pencil, scissors, drinking straw, and glue.

  1. Cut construction paper into squares: one 1″ (2.5 cm), one 2″ (5 cm), one 3″ (7.5 cm), and one 4″ (10 cm).

  2. Fold each square into fourths.

  3. Cut out patterns on this page, and trace onto folded squares of corresponding sizes.

  4. Cut out petals, then unfold.

  5. At centers, glue back of each of three smaller petals to front of next larger one.

  6. Glue back of flower to straw stem.
