Tree Ornaments

To make each ornament, you will need: wrapping paper or used Christmas card; heavy, plain paper; scissors; colored construction paper; glue; and short piece of thread.

  1. Mount picture from wrapping paper or card on heavy paper; cut out, leaving tabs at widest edges (see illustration).

  2. Cut strip of construction paper long enough to encircle picture (see illustration) and overlap a little bit; glue overlap.

  3. Fold in tabs; glue to inside of construction-paper circle.

  4. Double thread, loop through circle, then knot.
