Dragonfly

To make a dragonfly, you will need: string, glue, a wooden clothespin, construction paper, a pencil, scissors, and a pen.

  1. Poke a piece of string through the clothespin at the front of the slot. Knot the ends of the string together. Glue the string in place.

  2. Draw the wings on construction paper (see illustration), then cut them out and slip them through the clothespin slit. Center them, and glue in place.

  3. Draw a face on the end of the clothespin (see illustration). Use the string to hang up the dragonfly.
