Instructions: Cut out the puzzle squares, put them together to create a picture of this prophet, and read some of the highlights of the prophet’s life. Glue the picture, its title, and the highlights to another piece of paper, and color it.

1808 November 1, is born in Milnthorpe, England

1822 (age 14) Works as a cooper (barrel maker), later as a woodturner

1824 (age 16) Joins the Methodists

1832 (age 24) Emigrates to Canada

1833 (age 24) Marries Leonora Cannon

1836 (age 28) Is baptized; placed in charge of the Church in Canada

1838 (age 30) Is ordained an Apostle

1839–41 (age 31–33) Serves a mission to Great Britain

1842–46 (age 34–38) Serves as editor of the Times and Seasons

1846–47 (age 38–39) Serves a second mission to Great Britain

1849–52 (age 41–44) Serves a mission to France and Germany

1855–57 (age 47–49) Presides over the Eastern States Mission

1857–76 (age 49–68) Serves as a member of the Utah Territorial Legislature

1877 (age 69) At Brigham Young’s death, becomes the leader of the Church as President of the Quorum of the Twelve

1880 (age 72) Is sustained as President of the Church

1885 (age 77) Makes his last public appearance before going into exile due to the laws against plural marriage

1887 July 25, (age 78) Dies
