Nephi Gets the Brass Plates

The pictures illustrating this Book of Mormon story are all mixed up. Read 1 Nephi 3–4 [1 Ne. 3–4], number the pictures in the order that they should be, then color them. You might also like to mount them on lightweight cardboard, cut them out, punch holes along the top, put them in order, tie them with yarn or string to look like a book, and put them with your Sunday things.

Leaping Leap Year

On February 29, the leap-year Frog Jumping Contest will be held. The winner will be the frog who jumps the farthest. Using the clues below, can you tell which frog will win the contest?

  • Speedo will jump farther than Flash, but not as far as Long Legs.

  • Flash will come in fifth.

  • Spot will eat too many flies for breakfast, so he will nap through his turn.

  • Lightning will jump farther than Long Legs but not as far as Hopper.
