Ere you left your room this morning, Did you think to pray? (Hymns, no. 140).

Did you ever wake up with a cat by your head who meowed in your ear till you rolled out of bed?

Katie did, on Monday.

Did you ever race with butterflies, your feet pounding the ground and the sun in your eyes?

Katie did, on Tuesday.

Did you ever try to catch a frog while it said ribbit, ribbit and jumped on a log?

Katie did, on Wednesday.

Did you ever climb a tree real high and look down at the ground and wish you could fly?

Katie did, on Thursday.

Did you ever dig a hole to see what was there, fill it with water, and get mud in your hair?

Katie did, on Friday.

Did you ever gaze at the stars in the sky, see the beautiful moon and a plane flying by?

Katie did, on Saturday.

Did you ever go to church and sing loud and strong and feel your heart soar with each new song?

Katie did, on Sunday.

Did you ever say your prayers and know deep in your soul Heavenly Father would listen and answer them all?

Katie does, every day.
