I believe this church to be the one true church. I believe in God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost. I believe in the living prophet, and I know that the scriptures are true. I believe in baptism. I plan someday to serve a mission. I know that we can be together as families forever. I also know that Jesus loves me, takes care of me, and that my prayers are answered.

I have always liked to read the Friend magazine as soon as it comes in the mail. I can always look to prophets, parents, and other people in the Church for good examples. I love Jesus Christ’s church.

My family has been going through some hard things this last year, but I know that Jesus loves me. I know that the Holy Ghost is watching over us. I believe in Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost, and Heavenly Father. I believe in the prophet, Gordon B. Hinckley, and I know that the scriptures are true.

Abigail Smith, age 8

Once when my sisters and I were singing songs out of the Primary songbook, I could feel the Holy Ghost. I felt all tingly and warm. I know when we sing Church songs at home I can feel the Holy Ghost.

I have a testimony that the Church is true and that the gospel is true and that [President] Gordon B. Hinckley is the true prophet. I’m thankful for my family and that we can be sealed together in the temple. I’m thankful for all my blessings. Some of those blessings are: the scriptures, my friends, my home, my relatives, and the gospel.

Twice this year I have been asked to give talks in Primary. The first thing I did was get out the Friend magazine. I was able to get ideas from stories, the activities, and the Family Home Evening Ideas section. It also has stories that touch your heart. All of these things have helped me prepare a good talk. I would like to say that I am thankful that the Church was restored. I know that the Church is true. I’m glad we have the Holy Ghost to guide us. I know that the scriptures are true and that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live.

I like to go to church, and I know that if we follow Jesus’ example, we can go back to heaven and live with Him again. When we pray as a family, I feel a feeling inside that helps me know that the Church is true. When I turned seven, I was excited about getting the Friend magazine because I like to read stories about things that happen to other children and I like to do activities for family home evening. I love my family.

Rebecca Alexandra Benavides, age 7

I love my family, and I know that if we follow Jesus and choose the right, like my CTR ring reminds me, we can live with Heavenly Father again. I love my Primary, I love to go to church, and I love to bear my testimony.
