Nephi

Nephi followed God’s commands.

He tried to do what’s right.

He read the scriptures, searched, and prayed—

In this he did delight.

He went back to Jerusalem

And got the plates of brass.

He built a ship with God’s own plans,

The ocean they did pass.

They made it to the promised land

With all their families.

Together they gave thanks to God,

Praying on bended knees.
