Listen to the Prophet

I’ll listen to the prophet—

The one who speaks today.

I’ll try my best to follow

All the words he’ll say.

I’ll listen to the prophets—

The ones from long ago.

I’ll read the words they wrote

Of important truths to know.

When I listen to the prophets—

From past and present too—

I hear the words of Jesus Christ

And learn what I should do.
