Here’s a little New Year’s present for both of you.
Uh, thanks, Mom.
Actually, the real gift is from Heavenly Father—a whole wonderful new year—365 days in which to learn and grow and serve and have fun. The calendars are just a reminder.
Take a look at the days you’ve been given. Will you find time in each of them for doing kind deeds and making good memories?
You can decide right now what sort of year this will be. Think of things that would make any day better. Then write reminders on your calendar pages, and then let the good days add up to a good year.
And then on January 20th I’ll play with somebody who doesn’t have many friends.
On February 14th, I’m going to take valentines to the widows in the ward.
On May 9th I’m going to do something nice for a really smart mom.
