Missionary Moments

answering the call

Even though you won’t serve a full-time mission until you are older, there are things you can do now to be a missionary. Here are some things children like you have done to share the gospel.

My brother and I are the only members of the Church in our school. As part of one class we talk about religions. I volunteered to do a presentation about our Church. The day of my presentation I said a prayer that I would do well and that the Spirit would be there. In my presentation I talked about the Book of Mormon, prayer, baptism, the Holy Ghost, the sacrament, temples, and our prophet. I really felt the Spirit during the presentation. It felt good to talk about our Church.

One time for a class project we each chose a person who made an impact on Arizona. Spencer W. Kimball was on the list. I knew he had been a prophet, so I chose him. I wrote a speech and dressed up like President Kimball. I presented my speech as students from the whole school came to my display. I am thankful for prophets and what they do.
