A First for Girls!
For the first time, girls 8 and older went to the general women’s meeting. Thousands went to the Conference Center. Millions more listened and watched by TV, radio, satellite, and the Internet. It may have been the biggest gathering of girls and women ever!
About 50 Primary girls sang in the choir. All over the world girls stood up when Sister Rosemary M. Wixom invited them to sing “Teach Me to Walk in the Light.” What an inspiring sight!
