We take the name of Jesus Christ upon us and become a member of His Church.

After that, as we take the sacrament each week, we promise to remember Jesus. We promise to keep His commandments.

We believe in Him. We worship Him. We follow Him.

What Is an Apostle?

When Jesus was on the earth, He called 12 men to be His special helpers and witnesses. They were called Apostles. He has called Apostles to be His special helpers and witnesses today. They testify of Jesus Christ to the whole world. Elder Andersen is an Apostle.
