We are disciples when we act as Jesus’s hands here upon the earth and serve His children.

Try sharing your love with people around you. You could call them, write them a note, or visit them.

We can all bless the lives of others.

Meet Elder Ronald A. Rasband

He was born February 6, 1951.

He learned to love the scriptures when he was in Primary. His teachers often asked him to read because he had a good reading voice.

When he was young, his mother and father taught him to work hard.

He served a mission in the eastern United States. Years later he was called to be a mission president in New York, USA.

He met his wife, Melanie Twitchell, in college. They have five children.

He was called to be an Apostle in October 2015.

What Is an Apostle?

When Jesus was on the earth, He called 12 men to be His special helpers and witnesses. They were called Apostles. He has called Apostles to be His special helpers and witnesses today. They testify of Jesus Christ to the whole world. Elder Rasband is an Apostle.
