We can picture the stable in Bethlehem where He was born.

We can remember Him when we take the sacrament.

We can remember how He suffered for us so we can be forgiven.

We can know that the Savior is nearby all the time.

Meet Elder Dale G. Renlund

Elder Renlund was born in November 1952. His mother was from Sweden, and his father was from Finland.

When Dale was almost 11, his family moved from Utah, USA, to Finland and Sweden for three years.

After high school, Dale was called to serve a mission in Sweden.

Dale met Ruth Lybbert while attending college. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple in 1977 while he was studying to become a heart doctor.

In 2009 he was called to serve in an Area Presidency in Africa for five years.

He has been an Apostle since October 2015.

What is an Apostle?

When Jesus was on the earth, He called 12 men to be His special helpers and witnesses. They were called Apostles. He has called Apostles to be His special helpers and witnesses today. They testify of Jesus Christ to the whole world. Elder Renlund is an Apostle.
