ʻOku Faitoʻo ʻe he Fakaleleí ʻa e Mamahi Kotoa Pē

“ʻOkú Ne kātakiʻi ʻa e ngaahi mamahi ʻa e kakai kotoa pē, ʻio, ʻa e ngaahi mamahi ʻa e kakai moʻui kotoa pē, ʻa e kakai tangata mo e kakai fefine fakatouʻosi, pea mo e fānaú.”5

“Ko ia ke tau haʻu mālohi ai ki he ʻafioʻanga ʻo e ʻaloʻofá, koeʻuhí ke tau maʻu ʻa e ʻaloʻofá, pea ʻilo mo e foaki ʻofá, ke tokoni mai ʻi he ʻaho ʻe ʻaonga aí.”6

ʻOku faʻa ʻahiʻahiʻi kitautolu ʻi he lahi hotau mamahí ke tau fehuʻi, “ʻIkai ʻoku ʻi ai e lolo faitoʻo ʻi Kiliati; ʻikai ʻoku ai ha faitoʻo ʻi ai?”7 ʻOku ou fakamoʻoni atu ko e talí ko e ʻio, ʻoku ʻi ai ʻa e faitoʻo. ʻOku lava ʻe he Fakalelei ʻa Sīsū Kalaisí ʻo faitoʻo e ngaahi tūkunga mo e ngaahi taumuʻa ko ʻeni ʻo e moʻui matelié.

Ne akonaki mai pē ʻa Kalaisi:

“Pea naʻe fekauʻi au ʻe heʻeku Tamaí koeʻuhí ke hiki hake au ki he kolosí; pea hili hono hiki hake au ki he kolosí, ke u tohoakiʻi ʻa e kakai fulipē kiate au. …

“Ko ia ʻi he māfimafi ʻo e Tamaí te u tohoakiʻi ʻa e kakai fulipē kiate au.”10

Mahalo ko ʻEne ngāue mahuʻinga tahá ia ʻa ʻEne ngāue fakafoʻituituí, ke hiki hake, faitāpuekina, fakamālohia, poupouʻi, tataki pea mo fakamolemoleʻi kitautolú.

Naʻe akonaki ʻa Palesiteni Henelī B. ʻAealingi: “ʻE ongo fakafiemālie pē ʻa e pau ke tau tatali ʻi hotau faingataʻaʻiá ki he fakanonga naʻe talaʻofa ʻe he Fakamoʻuí, he kuó Ne ʻiloʻi mei he meʻa kuó Ne aʻusiá, ʻa e founga ke fakamoʻui mo tokoniʻi ʻaki kitautolú… . Pea ʻe ʻomi ai ʻe he tui ki he mālohi ko iá ʻa e faʻa kātakí ʻi heʻetau lotu, ngāue, mo tatali ke maʻu ha tokoni. Naʻe mei lava pē ke Ne tokoniʻi kinautolu ʻo fakafou ʻi he fakahā, ka naʻá Ne fili pē ke Ne ako ai ʻi Haʻane aʻusia tonu ia.14

Ne u ongoʻi ʻa hono “ʻākilotoa au ʻe Hono toʻukupu ʻofá” he pō ko iá.15 Ne u tangi ʻi he ongoʻi ʻo e houngaʻia. Ne u toe ʻilo ha meʻa ʻe taha kimui ai ʻi heʻeku lau he tohi Mātiú ki he ngāue ʻa Kalaisi ʻi māmaní: “Pea kuo efiafi, naʻa nau ʻomi kiate ia ʻa e tokolahi … peá ne … fakamoʻui ʻa kinautolu kotoa pē naʻe mahakí.”16 Naʻá Ne fakamoʻui ʻa kinautolu kotoa pē naʻe haʻu kiate Iá. Naʻe ʻikai tuli ha taha.

Hangē ko e akonaki ʻa ʻEletā Tāleni H. ʻOakesí: “ʻOku haʻu e ngaahi tāpuaki ʻo e fakamoʻui mahakí ʻi he ngaahi founga kehekehe, ʻo fakatatau mo ʻetau fie maʻu fakafoʻituituí, pea hangē ko ia ʻoku ʻafioʻi ʻe Ia ʻoku ʻofa lahi taha kiate kitautolú. ʻI he taimi ʻe niʻihi ʻoku hanga ʻe he “faitoʻó” ʻo fakamoʻui hatau puke pe toʻo atu ʻetau kavenga mafasiá.
