Kwaye Nihlale Nilugcinile Uxolelo lweZono Zenu

Ukuzalwa Kwakhona ngokoMoya

Emhlabeni sinamava okuzalwa komzimba kunye nethuba lokuzalwa kwakhona ngokomoya.3 Siyacetyiswa ngabaprofeti nangabapostile ukuba sivuke siye kuThixo,4 “sizalwe ngokutsha,”5 kwaye sibezizidalwa ezitsha kuKrestu6 ngokufumana ebomini bethu iintsikelelo ezenziwe ukuba zenzeke ngeNtlawulelo kaYesu Krestu. “Ukulunga, nenceba, nobabalo lukaMesiya oyiNgcwele”7 zingasinceda siphumelele kutyekelo lokuzingca kunye nokuzingca komntu wendalo kwaye sizingce ngakumbi, sibe nobubele kwaye sibe ngcwele. UMoya oyiNgcwele lilungu lesithathu leNtloko yobuThixo. Ungumntu womoya kwaye ungqina ngayo yonke inyaniso. Kwizibhalo, uMoya oyiNgcwele kubhekiswa kuye njengoMonwabisi,10 utitshala,11 nomtyhili.12 Ukongeza, uMoya oyiNgcwele ungumngcwalisi13 ococa kwaye utshisa intlenge kunye nobungendawo kwimiphefumlo yabantu ngokungathi kungomlilo.

Ukufumana nokuGcina uXolelo lweZono ngokweMimiselo

Ukuqonda ngokupheleleyo inkqubo apho sinokufumana kwaye sihlale sigcina uxolelo lwezono zethu, kufuneka kuqala siqonde ubudlelwane obungenakwahlulwa phakathi kwemimiselo emithathu engcwele enikezela ukufikelela kumandla ezulu: ubhaptizo ngokuntywiliselwa, nokubekelwa izandla isipho soMoya oyiNgcwele, kunye nomthendeleko.

Ukubhaptizwa ngokuntywiliselwa uxolelo lwezono “ngummiselo wentshayelelo yevangeli”16 kaYesu Krestu kwaye kufuneka wandulelwe lukholo kuMsindisi kunye nenguquko enyanisekileyo. Iingxelo ezintathu zoMprofeti uJoseph Smith zigxininisa unxibelelwano olubalulekileyo phakathi kwemimiselo yobhaptizo ngokuntywiliselwa uxolelo lwezono kunye nokubekelwa izandla isipho soMoya oyiNgcwele.

Ingxelo 1: “Ubhaptizo ngummiselo ongcwele ukulungiselela ulwamkelo loMoya oyiNgcwele; lijelo kunye nesitshixo oya kuthi usebenze ngaso uMoya oyiNgcwele.”21

Ingxelo 2: “Ungabhaptiza ingxowa yesanti njengendoda, ukuba alwrnzelwanga ngenjongo yokuxolelwa kwezono nokufumana uMoya oyiNgcwele. Ubhaptizo ngamanzi sisiqingatha nje sobhaptizo, kwaye alulungelanga nto ngaphandle kwesinye isiqingatha—oko kukuthi, ubhaptizo loMoya oyiNgcwele”.22

Ingxelo 3: “Ukubhaptizwa kwamanzi, ngaphandle kobhaptizo lomlilo kunye noMoya oyiNgcwele, akuncedi nto. Ziqhagamshelene ngokungenakwahlulwa.”23

Ukuqhagamshela kokuhambelana phakathi komgaqo wenguquko, nemimiselo yobhaptizo kunye nokwamkela isipho soMoya oyiNgcwele, kunye nentsikelelo ezukileyo yoxolelo lwezono kugxininiswa kaninzi kwizibhalo.

Ukubekela izandla isipho soMoya oyiNgcwele ngummiselo owenzwa ngegunya lobubingeleli bukaMelkitsedeke. Imifuziselo yomthendeleko ingcwalisiwe ukukhumbula ubunyulu bukaKrestu, nokuxhomekeka kwethu ngokupheleleyo kwiNtlawulelo yaKhe, kunye noxanduva lwethu lokuhlonipha imimiselo neminqophiso yethu ukuze “sime singenabala phambi [kwaKhe] ngomhla wokugqibela.”29

Ummiselo womthendeleko sisimemo esingcwele nesiphindaphindwayo sokuguquka ngokunyanisekileyo kunye nokuhlaziywa ngokomoya. Isenzo sokuthabatha umthendeleko, ngaphakathi nangokwaso, asizixoleli izono. Ukubhaptizwa Kwakhona

Ngamanye amaxesha abaNgcwele beMihla yokuGqibela bavakalisa umnqweno wokuba bangabhaptizwa kwakhona—kwaye ngaloo ndlela bacoceke kwaye bafaneleke njengalo mhla bafumana ngawo umthetho wabo wokuqala osindisayo weendaba ezilungileyo. Imimiselo imema injongo yokomoya kunye namandla ebomini bethu njengoko sizama ukuzalwa ngokutsha kwaye sibe ngamadoda nabafazi bakaKrestu.32 Ubuthathaka bethu bunokomelezwa, kwaye ukusikelwa kwethu imida kunokoyiswa.

Nangona kungekho namnye kuthi onokufikelela kwingqibelelo kobu bomi, sinako ukuba sifaneleke ngakumbi kwaye singabinabala njengoko “sicocwa ngegazi leMvana.”33 Ndiyathembisa kwaye ndiyangqina siya kusikelelwa ngokholo olwandisiweyo kuMsindisi kunye nesiqinisekiso esikhulu somoya njengoko sizama ukugcina uxolelo lwezono zethu, kwaye ekugqibeleni, sime singenabala phambi kweNkosi ngomhla wokugqibela.
