Frequently Asked Questions
The following are frequently asked questions about the directory.

I moved out of my stake (or returned home from a mission) and would like to access previous ward directory to send correspondence to friends.
By policy, the directory will show only member information in your local ward or stake. You cannot view member information in other stakes.

I need to contact an organization leader in another stake.
For privacy reasons, you cannot view member information in other stakes. However, you can ask your ward clerk to look up this information in the Church Directory of Organizations and Leaders.

How can I change how my name appears?
The directory shows the preferred name as set in MLS/LCR. To change it, see your ward clerk.

How can I remove my ex-spouse from my household listing?
If you want to change information other than e-mail addresses, phone numbers, or photos, you will need to contact your ward. If you are divorced, the clerk should update your membership record. If you are only separated and do not want the spouse's name displayed, you and ward clerk will need to work with Church headquarters to have the record suppressed.

Contact your ward clerk to update the marker location on the map.
