Record a Death

Policy and Principles

Ensure that membership records are updated promptly and accurately to include all baptisms and confirmations, priesthood ordinations, endowments, marriages, and deaths.

Procedures

From the deceased member’s information screen, click the Actions button below the membership record number, and then click the Record Death link. Enter the death date and click the Record Death button. After the death date is recorded, the record will be moved out of the ward and you will not be able to make any additional changes.
