After Jesus was gone, He still led His Church—only now He did it through a prophet, Peter. Guided by the Holy Ghost (see Acts 1:2), Peter and the other Apostles continued the work that the Savior had begun.
Those former-day saints were blessed to be led by prophets and apostles. And so are we Latter-day Saints! President Russell M. Nelson is the Lord’s prophet today.
