We may store additional information in your LDS Account in order to verify your identity and your eligibility to purchase certain items, such as garments and temple clothing. We may also record actions taken on the Store including, but not limited to, clicks, page views, IP address, search queries, or your participation in surveys and other information gathering practices. We may store this information on our equipment or the equipment of third parties that have a relationship with us for that purpose.
Payment information is not stored by this Store and is collected directly by a third party processor through its secure link only to facilitate the transaction. Specifically, no credit card information (including credit card numbers, expiration dates, billing, or other validating information) is transmitted, processed, or stored directly by the Store.
To the extent we retain personal profile information in your LDS Account, you can update your personal information by accessing the LDS Account site and editing (where permitted) your personal profile. Some LDS Account information can only be updated by making changes to the user’s membership records for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the “Church”) and such changes must be done in your local Church ecclesiastical ward, branch, or unit.
We may use the information we collect or receive from you to sell you products and address your questions, and to manage our everyday business needs, such as to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, improve Store administration, create usage statistics, and comply with the law.
We may share customer information with other non-profit Church affiliated legal entities. In addition, we may provide your personal information to third parties that assist us in completing the transaction, such as service providers that provide payment processing, maintenance, security, data analysis, hosting, or shipping services. These service providers are contractually required to adhere to industry standards in performing these functions and are prohibited from using your personal information for any purpose other than fulfilling our request for services.
