Although the Church has not grown as fast in Finland as in some other areas of the world, the bonds of membership and fellowship are not easily broken among this people known for their commitment. Inside back cover: The Conversion of Alma the Younger and the Sons of Mosiah (Alma 36:6, 24), by David Linn. An award winner in the Second International Art Competition sponsored by the Museum of Church History and Art, this three-paneled painting illustrates the conversion of Alma the Younger and the Sons of Mosiah. The left panel depicts the young men “seeking to destroy the church of God.” In the center panel, the angel appears to them, calling them to repentance. In the right panel, they are preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.
