Honoring My Parents

When I obey the commandment to honor my father and my mother, I can be like Jesus. He obeyed His Heavenly Father and His earthly parents, Joseph and Mary. I also feel that when I honor my mom and dad I am honoring and obeying our Father in Heaven. I know that if I obey my parents, it will be easier for me to understand and obey the commandments Father in Heaven gives us. I know that Jesus Christ is our leader and example. I want to be like Him.
