    Christmas Advent Calendar Cutouts

    1. 1.

Remove pages 8–9 from The Friend. Carefully cut along the broken lines.

    2. 2.

Mount the calendar on a piece of heavy paper. Glue only around the edges so the numbered flaps on the pathway and the slots can still open.

    3. 3.

Remove this page from the magazine. Cut out the numbered squares, then carefully glue the square under the flap with the same number on the calendar. When the glue is dry, close all the flaps.

    4. 4.

Cut out the pictures of the travelers and of the manger scene. Slip the travelers picture into the slots at the beginning of the pathway. Put aside the manger scene and add it at the end of the pathway on Christmas Day.

Beginning on 1 December, fold back one flap each day, read the information, and answer the question or do the activity.
