Trying to Be an Example

I want to tell you that I love reading the Liahona magazine, and I know it contains the words of the prophet. I have a testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and of prayer. I am grateful for the gospel in my life, and I try to be an example to other young people who do not yet know the word of the Lord.

Peace Has Penetrated My Soul

I am not yet a member of your church, but joy, love, and peace fill me because I have finally found the truth. A friend gave me a copy of the Liahona and the Book of Mormon to read, and even though I found the truth in them, I hesitated because some people told me this was not a good church.

But since I felt the truths of Christ, I began to read again, and now a great feeling of peace has penetrated my soul. The teachings are clear and edifying—and that is the presence of the Spirit in the work. There are no units of the Church where I live, but I pray that the Lord will open the doors so that the restored gospel can come to my city and I can be baptized.
